It has been a while

I hadn’t realized that it has been quite this long since I’ve updated the blog. Oops! I’m going to try to be more consistent, I promise!

The world as gone a bit crazy since last I posted. My day job as a University professor was upended last spring when all classes transitioned to online and I lost access to my office. Normally, this wouldn’t have been so bad but I was in the middle of moving and losing access to a quiet place to write was really hard on me. However, even with the major disruptions- including my elderly mother moving in with me- I managed to finish the rough draft of Under the Harvest Moon! Yay! I am currently in edits and I hope it will be out next year.

I’ve been writing some backstory on Juliette that I’ll be posting here on the site as little teasers. I hope this will wet your appetite for Under the Harvest Moon. I’ll also be building out the website more to add pages for more information on my New Orleans and the creatures who inhabit it. I hope you’ll check back regularly to see my progress.
